Yoga Therapy
Although all yoga is a potentially-therapeutic practice, yoga therapy is the more specialized application of the practice’s yogic methods and therapeutic principles, using them to address the individual mental, physical, and emotional needs of the practitioner.
We will be incorporating Asana, Pranayama, and meditation along with Kinesiology, strength and flexibility training, relaxation techniques, and ongoing dialogue to create a transformation.
A yoga therapy session is an intimate experience, serving as a truly safe space where we hold what is, allowing it to be present. We practice approaching whatever comes up with openness and awareness, from a compassionate and holistic point of view.
The goal of Yoga Therapy is to learn how to feel good in both body and mind and improve the quality of one's life.
